during weather for your care

How do I fix my dry skin?  during weather!

Turn down heat-hot water leeches moisture from your skin. Be sure your shower is warm but not scalding hot. Once you get out of shower, apply a thick lotion over and the put on a cotton robe to give your body sometime to absorb and look in moisture.

Drink up! your body is nourished from inside out, therefore it's key to ensure you are taking in slots of water throughout the day. if you don't drink enough water, your lips will chapped and your skiing will dry and break out acne. 

Make your make up "moisture": During the winter  months it's important update your break regimen.

 if you have particularly dry skin maybe use BB cream foundation and skip the powder or opt for cream blushes (I mix my moisturizer with my foundation or concealer which make the application smoother and helps to quench my skin if I'm on the go, ( I like to spitz some on my face to go. it's very hydrating.

The winter season is in full swing between harsh arctic winds and frigid temperature your skin is probably  suffer if you like me, you most likely anguishing over one or all of the flowing: dry, chapped,flaky skin, lucky there are a few simples remedies for this winter beauty woe here are few of my personal tips and ticks I turn to.

I still counting down days left to christmas day coming soon, can't wait open the presents!!! also a lot soul food always so delicious!

I don't know what's inside in my presents! until Dec 25th I will tell u what is it?! ok hehe!

Can't believe next week is 2014!! Why time going SO fast??! I'm getting old every years, hehe! what's your resolution for 2014?

What will I do for 2014:


  1. Make money and save for my life, traveling, house 
  2. more exercise,yoga and be healthy happiness!
  3. Try go back to college to finish my degree!

Embrace your awkward years

everyone has pic I want to hide from the world but awkward I say that cringe-y phase actually help you find confidence.

you want to talk about awkward years eh?
When I was growing up, my mom used to fix my hair (very ugly) really nerdy I hated the way it looked, but I never said that I wanted to grow up out of it be different and mature lady! why? I don't.
Even, I know one day while I was shopping with my mom, my mom always picked clothes for me and what she like but I dislike it, she don't know what I like or want this. I was mortified, but in all fairness, I have boobs, a pixie cut) was a little very skinny and wore glasses make me the target of a lot of teasing I channel my frustration and emotion into getting stronger in my personality always hyper and diva also talkative
I tried to reassure myself but hearing I looked like a skinny, Bone as tough a those awkward years were to deal with. Don't hate for saying this.
you do get something out of them while I was feeling self- conscious about my brace,zits,glasses, and my bad hair I started say yes to things. I would normally say no to in order to cope with my awkwardness. first I took ballet and hip-hop class taught by myself but I grow up with my family who love to dance reggae and hear music too. what l learn and look up to my mother always do that and I early really talent at it make m3 high- esteem and confidence. it was so fun that I don't care  after a few class, I realized I wasn't looking around the class to see If I looked cool like other girl i was dancing for me and I felt liked rock star or professional dance! when you're doing something that make you happy the awkardness just melt away. Since then I've tried ton of new things, Like book club, writing class etc, and surfing lesson etc. having interesting hobbies and experience give you a blogger life and they make all the little awkward moments where u feel less than beautiful, or like you don't fit in, matter less. when you try things that feed your soul, you discover new interesting and facts of your personality and they store your confidence in a way that a perfect smile or shiny never could. look, I'm not saying that everyday in a breeze. it can still tough. but I'm actually grateful for the times when I felt like I didn't fit in. without them . I might still be the girl who never feels pretty enough. Instead I;m the girl with big many personality attitude and have fun life.

but i think it goes deeper than that changing your hair can mark is a changing in  your life.

Each felt stuck in a rut, but when they switched up their hair, they instantly feel cooler, stronger freely, sexy,hottest, styles more like themselves.

Spread the love for X-mas

Welcome to December!!!

I've make "wish" list for my christmas, what's at the very top of your wish list this year?
Maybe a cool studded leather or jacket? A killer pair of shoes and boots?  A luxe glittery lipgloss -stick or cosemtic stuff?
Just to imagine all those beautifully wrapped gifts and that warm-all-over feeling you'll get it when you unwrap the most perfect thing ever. But it's also pretty nice to think that you could give someone else that cuddle feeling or kissing under mistletoe.

Well recently I've been a lot hearing and reading on the newspaper about "paying it forward"  people can do like particularly at fast-food drive throughs, folks pull up pay for their own order and for the meal of the people in the car behind them. they drive away knowing that they made a strange melt a little heart and be happy.
The closet u wore or never wore clothes instead give away to people need clothes make their warm comfortable or make funderiser like be creative, help do with thing.
you deserve single luxury get it but it's just as a awesome to share little with the people around you for no other reason than you have a a lot of thing to give. And there's nothing bad about starting 2014 with some good and life too. "karma in the bank!" xoxo & hugs!

Traumarama!

"Class Act"

I was only deaf in the mainstream class, sitting in the class after lunch and could feel a burp out coming on. The teacher was can hear in the middle of a pre- final exam question, So I was trying desperately to hold it back. But next thing I knew, it just came out, and it was loudly than I'd expected everyone was looking at me. So I said " excuse me" in the most girly and cute "voice" sign language I could, but The Guys still made fun of me  of it.

Protect my dogs

I'm a huge an animal lover and it make me so sad to see homeless animal suffering since animals can't speak up for themselves. it's our jobs to be protect them. That's why I've been supporting, people for ethical treatment of animals peta for past four years. it all started with me simply go to Peta.Org
and writing in the comment box that I wanted help. Then Peta contracted with me with a list of campaigns I could join, There are so many ways to help. you can use the Facebook,twitters,other accounts to encourage people to bring stray to animals shelter where they'll be cared for properly or u can adopt them like I did it!
I love my dogs! Yorkshire terrier girl is 1 years old and her name is Leah  and chihuahua boy is 4 years old and his name is little wayne.

use these trick to help your friends social with guys.

1. Make a game plan

The whole idea of using wing-woman it to meet guys without seeming like you'r trying. So first you'll make an introduction  for your friend, the let her or him do the same for you!. At part, stake out, a spot near big traffic area (like the kitchen or the pool table) where a ton of cuties filter though. 

2. pick out guy 

It's easiest to chat with guys standing around the perimeter of the room where people stand when they're waiting for something to happen. Avoid any guys engrossed in the TV or Xbox game
( you'll never get his attention) or with a big group ( his friends you're not flirting with might get bond and bug him leave)

3.Make your approach

When your friend sets her eye on someone lead the way and talk first since you're not into him. it's nerve racking to make the first move. " say, you're  in mrs. mowrey's  fifth period class? haven't you met my friend?" "awesome" wings don't need to know dude to make an introduction.

4.Get out of here

After jump start the conversation stick around for one a mintue or two just long enough to throw out a few juicy nuggets of information about her or him ( she's a pro at getting backstage at concert" There was this one time) your job is set her up with a cool story. then spilt while the guy is 100 percent focus each other 

5. Time an interruption

After they're chatted for about 10 minute enough time  to build to flirty  rapport , go  back to them with graceful reason why  you both need to leave ( keeps texting - I told her w're on our hight notes so, he'll want to follow up for sure.

My Vacation is in Japan!

I've always missed it and  I didn't even realize it was happened in 2009 that's fast years I went to Nagoya then Tokyo in Japan. I was arrived at international airport and it's so different country. It's my first time to ride train called "button train"like exactly Acela train, toward to Tokyo station, I saw the whole city was covered in rosy blooms, some falling onto the ground like pink snow. I'd arrived during the week of cherry-blossom season and it is a total surprise.
Although I came to visited to my brother's college in Nagoya for exchange students studies international languages, the city looked so incredible beautiful that I extended the trip into a vacation. I stayed at the Inn hotel and I went to Shibuya where people crowed and the cool Japanese teens hangout out there; like it's like Times Square meets the East Villages. That's the thing about Tokyo also juxtaposition of modern skyscrapers and street with a small town feel and there are pockets with little temples, shops, and local food stands ( I ate almost all my meals on the street: my favorite snack is pop candles and taiyaki.) then a subway stop away when you'll see cutting-edge architecture, like the Prada building and other too. there's an electronic district full of gadget and vending machines that dispense everything from gourmet food to socks and all the machines talk! I can't hear either (laughing)
People really have a way of mixing prints and colors, and I always feel underdressed when I'm there. In Harajuki where you'll see the girls in head to toe Victorian costumes and wigs. I bought present for myself and my friends at the toy Shop Kiddy Land. I end up coming up back with an extra suitcase. In fact, almost all stores carry suitcases for that exact purpose.
I went tours to the Toyota Car Museum,Sony,Shibuya Mall also Aquarium  etc!. There is so amazing tours for my first time travel in Japan, also that's wonderful have experience for me been in Japan

Someday I'll go visiting there again!!!!!!!

I'll complain to my BFFs about my body started to change that I used hate them and would tell my friends " ugh I wish blahs or I don't like this"just like that we're started picking our bodies apart too finally we're laughing and realize said " wait, why are we doing this and complained about this?".
Now we try not let negativity take over, but if one of us is feeling bad about herself  and they'd be like " Are you crazy??"you're beautiful and embrace your body" I guess they're right. I realize that I'm very lucky have true BFFs around me and be honest, respecting their bodies so am I too. 
we're photographed in bikinis all the time but we remind love each other that we've all got we feel insecure about that! which makes it easier to accept the little things and make more confident!.

How I found bikini peace on summer

When I was teenager, I used to stand in the front of the mirror wishing I looked more like Tyra Banks or Christina Milian with her perfect body with her curves shape and perfect big boobs.
But had mark birth on my left arm and african American complexions also being skinny, I felt like I didn't belong. I was literally uncomfortable in my own skin! I would cover up so I wouldn't  get tan and stick out more. After a sumer of missing out I  started posting sticky notes on my mirror in my room said "you're beautiful", hoping that it would sink in.

A year later, I found photo from that summer and it hit me: what had I been so afraid of? I saw a unique girl who had no business being miserable while her friends were having fun. those photos are now remember of how important it is TO STOP PICKING YOURSELF APART and TO EMBRACE WHO ARE YOU!

My hair is chemical-free I wear my hair in natural, ponytail or an afro
I'm a woman on the go
I don't shave my legs
God put it there with love and care
I love everything about blackness from head to toes
our money says " in the we trust".
God created me know how he wanted me to be
whole and complete from the crown of my head to the sole of my feet he didn't make any mistakes.

In loving memory of my father, Paris! 

When I grew up without no father only I have single mom until she found new man in her life and remarried with man who did replace to be my step father. There is addition family and I have younger brother  It's joy and happiness family so far.
He was good handsome man, army, humor of sense, love to dance, confidence spoken, intelligent, love to care people to cherish. I'm happy have a father in my life.....

Good Grief

If someone you know dies, you usually have to let yourself hurt to heal. Here's help sorting through all of those feeling.

What to Expect:
"That day"

There's no "right"way to feeling when you get such bad news- you may suddenly sob, but you may also feel shock or numbness. It take some people a little longer to process a death and that's okay.

"The Funeral"

You're hurting and so is everyone around you at the funeral. But when you're all together, honoring the person you lost and allowing yourself to experience all the painful emotions. It actually begins the process that will ultimately make things better.

"The week that follow"

You may already mostly healed but for others, it take longer you might not be able to concentrate in yourself at the class, work or home. You might flip out on friends or anybody for no reason you might even have physical symptoms, like shortness of breath, or trouble sleeping anger, confusion, resentment of those who aren't suffering like you are- it's normal, so be patients with yourself and at this stage.

"A few month later"

Most people still miss the person terribly but the crushing griefs symptoms start to let up so if you're still distracted by your loss on a daily basis it may be time to talk to counselor, therapy or physcologist  who can help you figure out ways to go on living without feeling guilty about it.

"The future"

Even though you're moved on, you'll still be hit with a flash of grief everyone and again. When that happen, yourself time to look at photo or listen and cry- and ignore the people who say. "You should be over it by now" because that's just not true!.

How to deal  with yourself:

  • honor the person
  • express your emotions
  • take action.
what do you say to your friend, relative? keep it simple is best tell them I know I can't truly understand how you're feeling but I'm sorry is that it gets better for your loss, and I hope.

In memory of my father and my friends are recently pass away rest in heaven. @ 2012-2013

"deaf people shall not marry each other"


[There was a young deaf couple in their wedding clothes. Alexander Graham Bell was standing next to the couple. AG Bell was holding a big paper titled “1884 – ‘Memoir Upon the Formation of a Deaf Variety of the Human Race’ – A. G. Bell.” AG Bell angrily shouted, “YOU DEAF PEOPLE SHALL NOT MARRY EACH OTHER!” The deaf couple defiantly ‘flipped off’ AG Bell, but they ‘flipped off’ with their ring fingers (with wedding bands) instead of their middle fingers.] 

I was horrified to find out that Alexander Graham Bell actually published a paper titled “Memoir Upon the Formation of a Deaf Variety of the Human Race,” in which he basically suggested that deaf people should not marry each other. 

Bell wrote: "Those who believe as I do, that the production of a defective race of human beings would be a great calamity to the world, will examine carefully the causes that lead to the intermarriage of the deaf with the object of applying a remedy.” His suggestions on how to stop marriages amongst deaf people were: “(1) Determine the causes that promotes intermarriages among the deaf and dumb; and (2) remove them.” *

Bell even went as far as saying this to deaf audience in 1891: “I am sure that there is no one among the deaf who desires to have his affliction handed down to his children” and he “promoted marriage with a hearing partner so that the undesirable ‘blood is diluted’ by ‘admixture with normal blood’ I cannot imagine how livid the deaf community must have been.

Of course, the angered deaf community and advocates placed so much pressure and criticism on Bell that Bell decided to have Dr. Edward Allen Fay do a study on deaf marriages. As a result, Fay found out that about 10% of deaf parents had deaf children That rendered Bell’s arguments to be invalid. Still, Bell had already done so much irreversible damages to the deaf community. (Not to mention his stance on supporting Oralism, on focusing on destroying ASL, deaf clubs, deaf schools, and many more)

I cannot imagine what it was like for deaf people at that time period. I am sure that many of deaf people’s family relatives were persuaded by Bell’s words against deaf marriages. As a result, deaf people suffered pressures from their family relatives to NOT marry their deaf partner, to marry a hearing partner instead. It is possible that, thanks to Bell, some deaf people were prevented from marrying (deaf) ones they truly do love. That is why my heart goes out to supporting same-sex marriages nowadays. Nobody deserves to be denied from marrying the ones they truly love. Nobody.

It's good to be Deaf

It's good to be Deaf Because.....


  1. I may not hear you, but I probably don't want to either.
  2. My communication is sound proof.
  3. I'm able to communicate across a crowed stadium.
  4. I'm able to communicate underwater.
  5. my sign language is most beautiful in the world!
  6. I'm able to avoid boring lectures and speeches.
  7. I don't have to hear all the hateful things people say.
  8. I'm able to sign " I love you" with one hand "\m/_".
  9. I'm able to move my theatre seat front for interpreting.
  10. Many people want to learn my language.

A letter to me

I can't believe that I found my old journals therefore did read journals, tell myself my teenager self what I wished for and what you can learn from my hard times.

Dear Chantal,

        Don't worry about being an outsider. You work so hard to be friends with girls who don't want to be around you. But don't EVER shape who you are for them. You wonder if  people always are right they say you're not skilled,talented,successful and that you  should give up your "DREAM" and goals. But you have to around yourself with people who respect, are honest with you, and support your goals.
       When things get tough, just remember that THIS IS A NECESSARY CHAPTER IN YOUR LIFE THAT'S UNFOLDING EXACTLY AS IT SHOULD. Someday you'll be living your dream but will still hear "NO" and you' ll still have to work hard and constantly prove yourself be successful. But you can't let someone else's "NO" define you, and you can't depend on one person or thing to make you happy. It's YOUR opinion of yourself that matters it makes you who are you.

Get Killer Confidence!

  1. I feel my best when I'm wearing dress up because they're just more comfortable to wear.
  2.  The person I look up to the most is My mother always gave me the best piece of advice I ever received to mature, growing self esteem, be strong,proud to be deaf,wise also diva attitude because Life is doesn't owe me anything.
  3. I'm not afraid to do something insane and make fun of myself.
  4. when I wake up I feel the most confident, because I have no make up on, I'm in Pajamas and If I have friends come over, I don't care what I look, I have bad day to look horrible so I always messy nappy hair leave on and I think that the more natural, the better for me.
  5. to be really mean and sarcastic flirt to boys. Boy like it when You're mean and that's what I'm best at.
  6. I don't let a lot of people in  and be my very close friends because I'm more of  person if I don't know you, I try make new friend and get know to you but If I know you, I'm the most outgoing and talkative person ever. 
  7. To stay grounded, just to love yourself and to love your body, because you're beautiful the way you are.
  8. Now I'm just completely and really true to myself.

Confidence Boost

Makeup give you a confidence boost, why you should try it too!

You know how you wake up and start getting ready like you're on autopilot? I do it first, my dress have to be perfect and more comfortable, look so good also sexy. Second my hair had to be perfect and I make sure our make up is right but when I started wondering why I feel the need to look so flawless: it is for me? is it for people I weren't sure, so we decided to do a little experiment. For a whole week at first my brain was racing,worrying that everyone was picking me apart.(did he see that pimple? is she judging me for my make up?  but something crazy happened as the day went on, I didn't get a single comment or weird look. Nothing seemed to change! and as the week went by, I realize that when I wasn't stressing about refreshing my lipstick, I could be totally tuned in to my friends and what was going on around me. It was almost like I had more energy when the pressure to look perfect was lifted. Don't get me wrong, I still  love to get make up, but now I actually feel my most confident with just a bit of blush and a dab of lip gloss. There's something so cool about walking out the door knowing that I'm accepting myself 100 percent before anyone else even has a chance to judge me.
